The Diocese of Orange holds some of the most striking Catholic sanctuaries in Southern California — the light-filled glass of Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, the mother church of the diocese; the warm, familiar parishes of Fullerton, Santa Ana, and Orange; and the historic missions of South County. For Catholic couples marrying here, the sanctuary is a participant in the rite, not a backdrop.
I am a practicing Catholic photographer, and Orange County is close to home. I have photographed Nuptial Masses here celebrated by a bishop and by a parish priest, within the Neocatechumenal Way and in the Ordinary Form — and in every one, I keep to the same discipline: step back during the consecration, move quietly through the sanctuary, and keep the camera on what matters most. The exchange of consent. The nuptial blessing. The first Communion received together as husband and wife.

I work with a limited number of couples each year so that each wedding receives my full attention — from our first conversation to the final delivered gallery. Collections begin at $4,500.

I dress appropriately, move quietly, and never position myself in a way that interrupts the liturgy. I do not use flash during the Liturgy of the Eucharist, and I am glad to follow any photography guidelines your parish observes.
